Very efficient on green wood, although I havent tried it on deadwood. Its lightweight and has an excellent grip. Im thoroughly satisfied with its performance for domestic use. Im a loyal Gardena customer; my previous Gardena pruner, which was 15 years old, worked exceptionally well until it was accidentally taken by someone else.
