   If you share my profound disdain for mowing lawns, yet are willing to invest a bit of time in setup and arent overly concerned with achieving a perfectly manicured lawn, then this compact device is an absolute game-changer. Before diving into the review, let me emphasize that I detest mowing with a passion. In the rainy Florida climate, my yard often becomes unruly far too quickly. However, this little gem has transformed my outdoor space into a presentable oasis without the backbreaking labor. Its also undeniably the coolest addition to my collection. Setup and Preparation Its advisable to watch the manufacturers YouTube tutorials on unboxing and assembling the mower, as the provided guide is somewhat lengthy and can be confusing. Once I followed the videos, the assembly process was effortless. The packaging was well-organized, and the mowers compact size exceeded my expectations. Clearing your yard of any large debris or potential obstacles is crucial, as the mower may get caught on them. I learned this the hard way when it became stuck on a branch I missed during cleanup. Setting up the boundary wire is the most challenging aspect of the installation. This involves laying out the included wire around your yard, connecting it to the base station, which likely powers the navigation system. A guide wire runs from the base station to the boundary wire, joined by a supplied coupler. Although wiring might seem intimidating, the videos made it a straightforward task. Ensure the wire is securely anchored in the ground; I initially used stakes sparingly, leading to tangling issues, but resolved this by adding stakes approximately every two feet (an ample supply was included). Mowing Experience After a simple installation wizard to personalize settings and schedule, you can activate the mower right away or test its performance. During its maiden voyage, its wise to supervise to ensure smooth operation. Though it didnt encounter significant obstacles due to my prior mowing, it effortlessly navigated for about 30 minutes before returning to the base station for recharging. App Configuration Contrary to another review mentioning a non-Bluetooth model, I discovered that all versions come with Bluetooth connectivity. To pair, simply open the app, power off the mower while its at the base, and restart it. My Android device promptly detected it (labeled P0.2), and I was delighted with the options, allowing me to fine-tune scheduling, spot-mow specific areas, and initiate manual sessions. Charging Station Cover Given Floridas unpredictable weather, the optional charging station cover, or Garage, offers peace of mind against extreme heat and sudden downpours. Installation is quick and the build quality seems durable. Final Thoughts The mower operates incredibly quietly, with the blade only audible when encountering tall grass. Its maneuverability surpassed my expectations, effortlessly navigating my soft, leaf-strewn soil that often causes my push mower to dig in. While it hasnt gotten stuck yet, this device isnt a one-size-fits-all solution for every yard. I confined it to larger open areas, knowing Ill need to touch up spots with thick undergrowth or obstructed areas. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend this mower to those with straightforward yard layouts and a strong aversion to mowing.    I installed a robot mower back in 2018, but I faced numerous problems from the very beginning with the Robomow/Cub Cadet XR1000 model. The mower ended up costing me more money than it was worth. Additionally, the customer service was unsatisfactory. Fortunately, my new Gardena robot mower has been an excellent investment. It runs quietly, mows effectively, and can even handle inclines up to 35%. Furthermore, since Gardena is a Husqvarna brand, I can expect top-notch customer support. Based on my experience, I would advise against opting for a cheap robot mower unless you have a very small lawn. The initial savings may not be worth the potential issues and ongoing costs
