I adore my Gardena spike-mounted water hose! 💆♀️ I am an ardent fan of girly-girls, so assembling anything isnt something I typically do. Nonetheless, after watching some helpful YouTube videos on how to install this spike-mounted water hose, even I effortlessly completed the process without any issues! 😄 PROS: – Easy to install. Its simple enough for one person to handle and it helps by showing you several helpful YouTube tutorials on how to attach the hose to the spike. Its really a great addition to any garden! – Super easy to reinstall in any other grass/ground location if you desire to move the hose reel. Unlike traditional wall-mounted ones, this spike-mounted reel wont leave any marks on the ground for extended periods. This is beneficial when you need to relocate your hose reel since it doesnt require filling gaps left by previous installations. – The retractable hose reel operates flawlessly! Numerous other brands of retractable reels make it challenging to maintain a consistent water flow, causing inconvenience. However, with the Gardena model, there arent any such issues. The hose moves smoothly, and Ive observed similar functionality in various models. – Stylish and unique! Its not readily available in any stores in the Greater Toronto Area, so youll only find it online. My neighbors and contractors have commented on its superior quality and unique appearance. CONs: – A couple of minor drawbacks. Although Im not a fan of the included spray nozzle, I thought it was worth upgrading and purchasing the Gardena 7-in-1 sprayer nozzle where you can merely press the nozzle to supply water flow without the requirement of twisting it. Additionally, I noticed that the plastic metal adaptors used in the hose reel were prone to leakage. To address this issue, I purchased the Gardena universal metal adaptors and it resolved the problem completely. In summary, I highly recommend the Gardena spike-mounted water hose. Its been a pleasure using it!

Equipped with a 66-foot hose, I can now conveniently wash my cars on the driveway and effortlessly tend to my new roses at the far end of my property. Regretfully, I wish I had found this gem earlier. So much so, that Im eagerly considering purchasing another for my backyard! This hose is exceptional. Setting it up took me approximately 20 minutes. It swivels, delivers excellent water pressure, and retracts quickly like the old-style vacuum cleaner cords.
