This tool is fantastic for picking up fallen black walnuts in my yard. However, be aware that the handle must be ordered separately, as it does not come with the fruit collector. This will add to the overall cost. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the tool works. It makes quick work of collecting walnuts, a task that would otherwise be back-breaking. Its also easy to empty. While I havent used it with anything larger than a walnut in its hull, Im very impressed with this tool

Overall, the tool has performed incredibly well in removing weeds from our sidewalks and brick walkways. Its effectiveness at eliminating weeds without causing harm to the surrounding environment is impressive. As a result, we have been able to fill these areas with polymer paving sand with ease. One minor concern is that the tool isnt very long-handled, so I sometimes have to kneel down to operate it. However, considering its numerous benefits, Im confident that this minor inconvenience wont affect my overall satisfaction with the product. This nut gathering tool is exceptional. It does an outstanding job of collecting our walnuts. We highly recommend purchasing the handle as well (sold separately)… The handle is incredibly sturdy and has an attractive appearance. You can start using the tool immediately to gather nuts. The initial cost may be high, but it has more than paid for itself over time. A quality tool is invaluable, and this is one such tool. For years, we manually picked up walnuts in our backyard. We finally invested in this tool and are thoroughly pleased with it. The side discharge chute is another fantastic feature that speeds up the process, reduces strain on the back, and prevents staining of the hands! (We have not found any other nut gathering tool with this discharge chute, and we would not want to give up this feature due to the three aforementioned advantages.) My husband and I used to collect the walnuts together, and now we argue over who gets to use the tool. He greatly enjoys sipping his morning coffee while listening to the birds and operating the nut gathering tool. Who would have thought that the task of collecting walnuts could be so relaxing?

I ordered a replacement handle, but it was too short. The longer version available isnt quite the same as my old, lighter handle. I feel a bit like Goldilocks trying to find the perfect fit! Ill keep both new handles, though, and see if I can use them with other tool heads. My original handle finally rusted through after many years of use
