After 20 years of use, the Gardena connectors on my existing setup began to leak. This allowed me to extend the lifespan of the custom feeder hose by minimizing hose loss and preventing leaks in the existing micro drip irrigation system. Using a rigid hose helped avoid pinching of the feed line, which would have reduced water pressure and increased hose wear. Pros: The connectors are easy to install. Cons: Some hose length (12 mm) had to be removed to replace the damaged, aged ends

I am not reviewing this specific product, but rather offering a comment on the Gardenena warranty. We had an issue with a five-year-old hose and connectors with the headquarters, but they quickly replaced the failed one for a reasonable amount of time. It is important to have all relevant documentation when dealing with products like these, but the lifetime warranty may seem unnecessary. I am proud to say that I have always been impressed with Gardenena quality and now, as their go-to source for garden hardware, I believe that the extra cost is worth it
