I have been disappointed with finding sprinklers that can last beyond a season. The only ones I found were poorly made plastic models that often failed within a few weeks to months. When I finally found one that worked for a full season, I thought it was a sign of divine intervention. However, one of them failed just two days after I purchased it. I was so surprised to discover the Gardena Sprinkler on Amazon.com. It is significantly more expensive than what is typically found at hardware stores, garden stores, and large box stores. However, I believe the quality and durability of the product make up for its higher price point. I am thrilled to say that I have been using the Sprinkler for about two months now and it has performed flawlessly. I plan to keep updating this review once I encounter any issues.

The width can be easily adjusted using the levers on either side of the sprinkler head, while the range of rotation is controlled by two sliders that allow for a wide variety of patterns, from a full spread to a narrow sector in any direction. A standout feature is the clutch mechanism, which allows for on-the-fly adjustments to both the width and rotation without needing to stop the water flow. This eliminates the inconvenience of repositioning the sprinkler like traditional models. While the sprinklers capacity to hold water is beneficial during operation, its crucial to drain it before freezing temperatures to prevent damage. The sprinklers plastic construction, while contributing to its higher price point, has proven durable over time. However, its wise to handle it with extra care compared to more basic sprinklers.
