I appreciate the flexibility of a single-stream irrigation system. It can be positioned to watering areas as desired, regardless of shape or size. Additionally, there is no wasted water caused by the misapplication of water in the woods or on the sidewalk. However, the metal adjustment stops have proven to be problematic. The Gardena single-stream system is easy to use, making me confident that I wont have to replace it every year. The plastic tabs move smoothly and offer significant adjustability. With the Gardena system, Ive been using it consistently since purchasing it, and it still has a dial adjustment for the length of water thrown. While the metal version requires adjustments made with a bending tab over the water flow, the Gardena system offers a thumb wheel for simple adjustments.
