While its competitors may claim otherwise, the Comfort Heavy Duty hose consistently maintains zero kinks, making it easy to handle and maintain. The rubber hoses are generally lighter in weight, which is great considering the added load of providing water for plants. Despite being made of heavier materials, the Flexogen hose never seems to have trouble remembering kinks, whereas the older Craftsmen rubber hoses often leave marks. The Gardena Classic hose is a step above and is suitable for all gardens, thanks to its lightweight construction and flexible design. The connectors on the Comfort Heavy Duty hose are universal and hold up well over time, while the older Craftsmen and Flexogen hoses require periodic maintenance to ensure longevity. I have used several types of hoses over the years, but the Gardena hoses are the best. I have only had this particular model for the past five and eighth month, so its slightly heavier than the two hoses I currently have in my front and backyard. However, I will continue to use this one in my side yard and alley access otherwise, as it is more flexible and durable, and also relatively easy to fix.

Although the cost is high, Im simply tired of dealing with all the other hoses that are toxic, kinked, bulging, and prone to bursting. The only complaint is the price, but its still worth it in comparison. Additionally, its very easy to roll up. Ive been using Gardena products for over two decades and should have switched to their hoses sooner. The price had always deterred me, but I now regret not making the change earlier
