The project involved connecting my brand new portable dishwasher and a hose to my Moen kitchen faucet, with the added complexity of using them simultaneously without compromising the faucets functionality. For the dishwasher connection (PROJECT 1), I used the SPT Model SD-9239SS Portable Dishwasher, which came with a chrome adapter featuring a FEMALE 55/64-27 connection. However, for a leak-proof connection, replace the included adapter with one of the Gardena 36002 Garden Hose Quick Connectors. For the hose connection (PROJECT 2), I opted for the Water Right PSH-075-MG-4PKRS Garden Hose, ideal for outdoor tasks during dishwashing. To combine the dishwasher and hose (PROJECT 3), I installed the Camco 20123 RV Brass Water Wye Valve, effectively creating two faucet outlets. The Gardena 9042-BK Garden Hose Quick Connect Starter Set (PROJECT 4) proved essential, providing adapters for the faucet, hose, and various spray nozzles. The remaining Gardena 36002 connector was saved for future use. Additionally, the LDR 500 2050 Aerator Adapter facilitated the connection between the faucet and garden hose. Attach the faucet-to-hose adapter. 3. Install the Garden Hose Y-adapter and test for leaks. 4. Connect the quick-connect adapters to the hose connectors. Absolutely thrilled with these connectors! As a motorhome owner, accessing the water connection used to be a challenge, but Gardenas solution has made it effortless. I was delighted to discover their predominantly metal construction, which speaks to their durability and quality. Theyre expertly crafted and completely leak-proof. Update 1/21/2014: Upon turning on my outdoor faucet yesterday, I encountered an issue with my Gardena Quick Coupler (female) not allowing water flow – a designed feature that functions as intended. My oversight was using a female connector on the faucet and a male on the hose. Ideally, I should have done the opposite, considering my faucet valve is safely located beneath the house, shielding it from freezing. However, with the Gardena QC attached, water can accumulate outside the valve, posing a freezing risk. With a high of 25 degrees predicted tomorrow, I promptly removed the QC and drained all water from the faucet to prevent any potential problems
