I have been eyeing these products for a long time and finally decided to buy two. The cost is worth every penny! Its amazing that I dont have to manually wrap the hose around them by hand to reel it back in. The product looks great and is easy to install on brick siding. Its durable and has a nice recovery function.

The product works exceptionally well, and the time-saving benefit of not having to pull out the old hose and wrap it around a hose reel is a significant advantage. I initially purchased one for my dad to use with his greenhouse because he was tripping over his rolled up hoses on the ground. While the installation is not difficult, it is heavy and needs to be mounted securely to a post in the ground, likely a 4×4 with a 2×6 mounted to it for best performance (this is how we did it). This requires some work but is definitely worth it when properly installed. He loves this hose and reel and has raved about it every time he is out in the garden working. It has been in service for two years now and still works smoothly without any issues. It is a sleeker design and provides a cleaner appearance overall. The hose appears sturdy and has not experienced any defects or leaks yet. To ensure durability, its recommended to blow out the water before storing the hose in the winter months. As I mentioned earlier, Ive purchased several more of these and have had great experiences using them. My dad loves his new hose and reel and always comments on how well it functions. I plan to buy more in the future.

I have three other high-quality hose reels installed in different areas of my house, but this one is undoubtedly my favorite. Although Gardenas German-engineered products are not known for being inexpensive, Im satisfied with the extra cost I incurred. This is a well-designed, precision-built automatic hose reel. While the 115-foot-long hose and reel are quite heavy, once securely mounted on the wall-mounted swivel base, it feels light and effortless to operate. As you extend the hose, the reel automatically locks whenever you stop pulling. To retract the hose, simply give it a gentle tug, and it will wind up perfectly, with no catches or tangles, as the geared guide wraps the hose around the reel flawlessly. To prevent grass clippings and debris from accumulating inside the reel, I lightly wrap an old towel around the hose near the reel, allowing the towel to clean the hose as it automatically retracts. Some users may not be familiar with Gardenas Power Grip connector, which slips over the hose and tightens by hand. If it ever comes loose, simply slip it back on and tighten it by hand. If you wish to shorten the lead-in hose, you can easily cut it to size and replace the Power Grip connector

The hose mount is fantastic! I can easily extend the hose to at least 50 feet, and when Im finished, a gentle tug is all it takes for it to retract and wind itself up. Its incredibly convenient – I only wish I had purchased one sooner
