When it comes to precise watering, this sprinkler is unparalleled. It performs flawlessly, whether you need a gentle trickle or a robust stream. Last year, I acquired my first one, and due to its exceptional performance, Ive just purchased a second to replace my Nelson oscillating model, which struggles to function at lower flow rates and is challenging to adjust for even coverage without overwatering. Ideal for my several 4-foot by 8-foot planting boxes, this sprinkler allows for effortless and accurate watering. Its versatility extends to variously sized and shaped beds, as it easily adjusts from narrow to wide coverage and accommodates short to long areas. The nozzles are made of a pliable material, possibly silicone, which makes them easy to clean when clogged – a gentle rub or prod usually does the trick. However, there are two drawbacks. Firstly, its constructed of plastic and doesnt exude durability, so it requires a gentle touch. I handle it carefully, avoiding rough handling like throwing or bumping it, and I refrain from touching the sprinkler head directly. Secondly, the flow control valve is situated at the base, right under the head, making flow adjustment while operating a bit uncomfortable. To solve this, Ive added a 6-foot leader hose with a female quick connect, along with a ball valve with a male quick connect on my hose end. This enables me to regulate the flow from a distance without getting soaked. Is it expensive? Indeed, it is. Nevertheless, this is the finest sprinkler Ive ever used, and Im phasing out all others in favor of it

It arrived promptly, allowing me to set it up for watering. Although it requires some time to calibrate, there are no instructions provided, but experimenting with its various settings is straightforward and helps you understand how they work. It performs its task flawlessly, and Im hoping for a long lifespan. UPDATE: Recently, between July 20th and 29th, 2022, Ive encountered issues with the oscillating system. It tends to stop functioning on one side, usually the right when viewed from the water inlet. A gentle nudge is needed to restart the oscillation, which sometimes completes successfully before getting stuck again. To the Gardena team: Ive been experiencing difficulties with my Gardena Zoom Max. It intermittently stops oscillating, and a slight push is required to get it swinging once more. Can you advise on how to address this issue? The water in this area is quite hard, so any guidance on resolving the problem would be greatly appreciated

This is hands down the best sprinkler Ive ever owned! Its heavy and sturdy construction prevents it from moving around like those flimsy, cheaper models. I appreciate that it operates quietly and still maintains its oscillation, even with a low water flow for smaller areas – something my previous sprinklers failed to do. While deciphering the settings took a little effort, it was manageable. The addition of a timer has been a game-changer, simplifying my lawn watering routine and conserving water. Ive spent countless summers running back and forth between the faucet and sprinkler, trying to adjust the water pattern and ending up soaked. I only wish I had discovered this sprinkler and timer sooner. It would have saved me years of frustration dealing with those inadequate sprinklers from big box stores

This is my first foray into using this sprinkler, and I must say, its by far the finest one Ive ever owned! The build quality is excellent, giving it a sturdy feel. The controls are both precise and user-friendly. Admittedly, its a bit pricier, but its a steal compared to other models Ive tried and discarded after minimal use (patience isnt my strong suit). Id vouch for this product without hesitation. Simply put, its a fantastic sprinkler! In the months since my initial review, Ive had ample opportunity to use this sprinkler多次. Investing in quality gardening tools, particularly from reputable brands like Gardena, proves worthwhile. In the past, Ive opted for cheaper sprinklers, only to be disappointed.
