The instructions provided were misleading. They only detailed use with the 1864/66 computer models, despite the box and timer description stating compatibility with the C1060 model. While the timer does function with the C1060, it requires following separate instructions specific to that model. These instructions necessitate programming all outlets, including setting a one-minute timer for unused outlets and utilizing end caps

In conclusion, this tool has saved me a significant amount of time and performs flawlessly as per its usage instructions. My entire yard is now watered using this device, and I find it incredibly beneficial. However, please keep in mind that there is a 5-minute interval between each water channel where the water needs to be turned off to prevent potential issues. If you encounter any unexpected results or operation failure, simply disconnect all hoses and uncap unused channels. By holding the distributor, you will clear all water pressure from the unit and it should return to normal operation. Its worth noting that this tool can work with any timing device provided by your sprinkler system, allowing for the minimum 5-minute interval between each zone. While it may seem unusual, given that you dont need to power the tool, I believe its quite clever. I have several custom lengths of hoses connected to various sprinklers throughout my yard, which run back to this distributor and a Gardena water computer. Overall, Ive been extremely pleased with the results

The Gardena water distributor Im currently using is the most recent edition, and Ive been relying on this brand for over two decades. Previously, I owned two earlier models, each enduring around 10 years of service. The current version seems to employ a similar mechanism as its predecessor, albeit with a horizontal orientation. It functions by using water pressure to compress a spring while water flows through one outlet. When the flow stops, the spring resets, shifting the device to the next outlet. Upon resuming water flow, it directs water to the newly selected outlet, and this cycle continues. I pair it with Gardenas water timer, a standalone device that lasts approximately five years, controlling the on and off periods. Additionally, I utilize their moisture sensor, which performs effectively. Overall, I find this setup highly dependable and cost-efficient compared to installing an electricity-dependent irrigation system

I no longer need to purchase separate timer and tap splitters as I can easily link up six different zones for watering. This is ideal for 1. A front yard garden bed, 2. A soaker hose for vegetable raised beds, 3. Drip irrigation for pots, 4. Front lawn sprinklers, 5. Rear lawn sprinklers, and 6. Side sprinklers all with just one timer!
