When extending my reach in the backyard to access a distant corner where I have a fire pit for occasional twig and clipping burning, I rely on connecting two of my 100-foot Gardena hoses. A perpetually ready hose, with water flowing from the faucet and a sprayer attached, simplifies the task. For seamless connection, this plastic adapter, which Gardena claims is crafted from 100% recycled paperboard, albeit rather pricily, comes in handy.
