Heartfelt thanks to Gardena for crafting such an exceptional product, and to Amazon for stocking it! This product is truly remarkable, and it puzzles me why its not more widely available in the USA. Gardena enjoys a strong reputation in the UK and Canada, after all. The installer of my home, however, made an unfortunate choice by situating the water faucets mere inches from the ground. Ive experimented with numerous adapters, brass goosenecks, elbows, and extensions, all to no avail. The gooseneck was the most effective, but combined with an extension hose, it常常 became tangled. This Gardena product, on the other hand, fits the faucet flawlessly and rotates effortlessly on the spigot. It even angles at a 90-degree pivot, addressing the issue perfectly. For a seamless connection with your hose, I highly recommend pairing it with the Gardena 36917 quick connector – it ensures leak-proof performance and is another fantastic item. Some reviewers have expressed concern about the plastic construction, but in my opinion, it appears highly durable, and I wouldnt hesitate to purchase it again

This solution addresses the following issues with outdoor faucets: 1. The angle of the faucet does not face downward when attached to quick-connectors, resulting in an additional 30-degree upward angle. By attaching quick-connectors, gravity acts on this new angle, causing the Gardena hose elbow to return to its original position of being down. To ensure that the quick connects remain tight and leak-free, the Gardena hose elbow points directly down, without the need for additional connections. 2. Four separate spigot connections are connected to an outdoor faucet, which can be found near one another. With this configuration, the Gardena hose elbow provides extra space and flexibility for connecting hoses or water timers, making it easier to manage your watering needs. However, the hose bend may become too severe at the faucet due to the Gardena hose elbow, causing the water flow to be disrupted. To prevent such problems, the Gardena elbow is an excellent choice. Make sure to avoid the dangers of metal connectors! I regret having to cut off Home Depots metal quick connectors from my hose by using an electrolytic reaction to remove the bonds between them and my garden hose. Therefore, its crucial to use a Gardena elbow to maintain proper connection and prevent leaks

Update: After six years, I finally noticed that my faucet was leaking at the elbow. It wasnt too bad for a plastic item that is exposed to a lot of sunlight. However, I was surprised when I realized that there was not enough space to attach or disconnect the hose on the side of the house, which was about three feet higher than the original concrete floor. This meant that I needed to make some serious adjustments to the hose connection system to accommodate the additional height. I decided to cover my front porch with stone to protect it from the weather. Unfortunately, I overlooked the loss of valuable working space to my hose faucet on the side of the house. When I tried to connect the hose using the garden hose quick connector, I found that it was impossible to fit the end of the hose through the faucet. This caused me a lot of inconvenience and frustration. In the fall and winter, I spent a lot of time trying to fix the hose connection issue. It was a difficult task, especially since the elbow and connector worked perfectly. There was no leakage at the faucet or hose connection to the elbow, and I was able to use the new hose quickly without any problems. Overall, this repair was a success, and I was grateful for all of the help and support of my neighbors who helped me with the project

Ive been a Gardena user for a long time, though I did take a break from their products after moving to Florida – a decision I now regret. Recently, I returned to using Gardena and purchased several new items, including four of their hoses, which are undoubtedly the best on the market. One of the things I appreciate most about Gardena is the durability and ease of use of their products. Apart from the occasional washer replacement, Ive rarely encountered any issues. While Gardena has expanded their range of connection options over the years, like this fantastic new swivel joint, its worth noting that all my older Gardena parts remain compatible with their latest designs

We have two outdoor faucets that were installed prior to the addition of a front porch and a rear deck. Consequently, there is limited clearance beneath each faucet. Connecting hoses to these faucets has always been challenging because they are positioned downwards, often resulting in immediate kinking of the hose. This swivel elbow fitting significantly improves the ease and functionality of the setup. The swivel feature helps prevent hose kinking. To use this system, you must also acquire the Gardenia Quick Hose Connector to attach to your hose. Once installed, connecting and disconnecting the hose becomes a simple task. I wish I had discovered this efficient solution years ago

The original product I owned, which was in use for a prolonged period, has proven to be highly durable. Unfortunately, it eventually broke after approximately six years of continuous use. To the best of my knowledge, this particular model is the sole offering of its kind currently available on the market

Revised Comment: This hose fitting prevents damage when connecting upward-pointing connections by ensuring that the connections are properly tightened. It has been particularly useful for me as it has resolved bending and partially-closing of connecting hoses, and improved or reduced flow. Whats more, it has saved me time by allowing me to avoid needing to shorten or replace damaged hoses.
